"Drawcia...where are you?"

-Paintra

"I'm...So...r...y...Paintra. For everything. I shouldn't have left the studio. I didn't know you'd be lonely.

And...for not seeing the end of my own life.
It was my fault because of my desire."

-Drawcia, upon defeat by Kirby

:bulletpurple::bulletpink::Art:: of ::SEPARATION:~Total Loneliness~:bulletpurple::bulletpink:

There was once a painting said to depict a pair of sisters separated at birth. It slept, unnoticed, in a painter's studio for countless years before it came to life and vowed revenge on the world.

Once upon a time, there were two sisters.
The older one was Drawcia, the younger was Paintra.
Both witches, who were once still paintings, have come to life,
It was all because of their creator's wish.

The creator, having an insatiable desire for living art
secretly wished his art would come to life.

But, what he didn't know was the consequence that came with it.
So, to save himself, he committed suicide.
However, his body was never found.

With no master to look after them, their original one being dead,
Drawcia and Paintra were left behind in the studio.
They cared for each other, as it's shown they're biological sisters.
Out of the two, Paintra was the more calmer one.

One day, however, everything changed forever.
Drawcia unexpectedly developed a lust for infinite power.
Paintra, worried, tried to confront her about leaving.
She didn't want to see her leave, for it would make her lonely.

However, Drawcia, with her power-hungry mind left without warning.
So, that left Paintra lingering in complete loneliness.

Drawcia was relieved to see the outside world, and started her quest,
Her quest was that to have a "perfect world."

A world covered in art. Every. Single. Last. Space. Of. The. Universe.

Her first target was a star-shaped planet, surrounded by two rings.
This quaint little planet was known as Planet PopStar.
As soon as she landed, Drawcia altered everything, from color to shape.
She even took away the limbs of the planet's hero Kirby.

But even though Drawcia did it, the limbless puffball still gave chase.
She knew that Kirby wanted to put an end to her desire for her perfect world.
Not wanting to give in, Drawcia challenged Kirby.
The grave mistake was that Kirby couldn't be stopped.

At Kirby dealt the last blow to her, Kirby could her Drawcia say something,
Something that was in sorrow, mixed in with a bit of emotional pain.

"I'm...So...r...y..... Paintra."

Hearing about her sister's death at the hands of Kirby...

It made Paintra develop vengeance against humanity
And more importantly...

KIRBY. The one who killed her sister.

:bulletpurple::bulletpink:FACTS N' STUFF:bulletpurple::bulletpink:

:bulletpurple:The caption in this picture is actually read as, "I'm...So...r...y...Paintra." (Go...me...na...i...PAINTRA.) It was done like this to make Drawcia sound like as if she's dying.
:bulletpink: Blood covers the "I'm Sorry" part and the block is colored black, to symbolize Drawcia's death.
:bulletpurple:In contrast, the white katakana at the bottom right is Paintra's name in Japanese (PE-I-N-TO-RA). It was left white to show Paintra was still alive.
:bulletpink: The rainbow line and Kirby also foreshadow another thing. Notice how Kirby's near the "half line". This symbolizes the fact that Kirby defeated Drawcia and is heading off to fight Paintra later on in Kirby Triple Deluxe.
:bulletpurple:The backgrounds for each side are also symbolical. Drawcia's own is that of her own world in Kirby Canvas Curse, while Paintra's side shows the room Kirby will fight her in.
:bulletpink:If you noticed, Drawcia's eye is shadowed out. I wanted to portray her as if she secretly regrets what she did to Paintra.
:bulletpurple: This was inspired by Paintra's description in the pause screen when you fight her. Another piece of inspiration came from :iconbopbee:'s drawing of human versions of Drawcia and Paintra. It can be found here. ---> fav.me/d7bwfj6
